Leaving Bogota took 2 hours to get through traffic

Day 10 ( 78 km )

Finally we had hopes to leave Bogota and were dying to get out on the road again, but first I had to solve my bike problems and try to get insurance, so when I tried to start the moto, she actually ran and Scotty and I went to look for a mechanic on one bike and found soon the Kawasaki dealership, which had his own repair facility, explained them the problems and they gave us preference, being from out of town and started right away and told us come back at noon. Scotty had to buy his helmet in town and i took care of the insurance issue and luckily there was a government insurance place nearby and within the our we had the 2 policies for 30 day for $ 15.00 each
Picked the bike up , they cleaned the carberator, valves, tank had to change the gas cables as well (worn out and hanging on a tread) , paid them $ 120.00 and was on my way to the hotel to pick up my belongings.
Around 2 pm we left just to try to get out of town and decided to go to Zapiquira in the north east of Bogota.

To get there took more us 2 hours in heavy traffic, checked into a nice old colonial hotel with a good mattress and called it the day.
