Using an iPhone in one hand, driving through spectacular scenery, I was able to make a few video's.
I could not load them up in our trip, due to slow internet connections, so I created this post.
As well we leaving again on the 18th of February 2013, to continue our hunger for South America, starting in Belem, Brazil where we parked our bikes!

Last days in South America for now.

Day 35 (0 km)

Saturday, we brought the bikes to get washed and shined and then we walked to the old town where the old market is, which is very interested and was called "Ver-o-Peso", but smelled like a sewage. There was a fisherman dock with lots of small fishing vessels, bringing in their daily load from the Amazon River.

Made a deal with the Hostal to keep our bags till the 18th of February, which is the day of our return flight to Belem, to continue our trip.

So the last 35 days, we rode almost 10.000 km ( 5950 miles), did 6 river crossings where we had to use ferries, paid for our gas between free (Venezuela) and $ 2.23 a liter (French Guiana), which is $ 8.43 a gallon!
Crossed into 11 countries,
had all kinds of small problems with our bikes, but managed to get to Belem as planned, before the 1st of December.
